Delivered from the Dark Domain

from Colossians 1:13-14 & 21-22

Verse 1
I dwelt down in the dark domain
Escape attempts all failed in vain
‘Til God’s loved Son delivered me
Transferred me to His country

Chorus
Redeemed and forgiven
Heir of God’s Kingdom
Holy and blameless
I stand in God’s presence

Verse 2
Once I was God’s enemy
Full of evil thoughts and deeds
When Jesus bled, died on the cross
He purchased peace with God for us

Verse 3
To God I was an alien
Now adopted as His son
I cling in faith to this good news
Jesus had paid all my dues
