From Ephesians 5: 1-16
Verse 1:
Though we once walked in darkness
Now we have seen great Light
But sleepy, sloppy livin’
Makes us forget to fight
Sin sprouts when the Light’s shut out
Chorus:
So wake up, wake up you sleepyhead
Rise up, rise up like from the dead
Open, open your tomb of sin
Let light, let light of Christ shine in
Verse 2:
Look carefully how you walk
Not as unwise but wise
Because the days are evil
Make the best use of your time
Sin slows when the Light’s exposed
Verse 3:
Walk in love just like Jesus
For us He gave His life
Give your life up for Him now
Kill sin. Put it in His Light
Sin dies when the Light’s supplied
